Building Safety Act 2022 – Building Regulations etc. (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2023

We previously reported on our integration strategy and the services we offer. We identified that this relatively new Building Safety Act introduced new duty holder roles that impact all stakeholders involved in construction projects, including the client, the principal contractor, and the principal designer. There are also a list of general duties for all contractors and designers that must be met and that we have educated ourselves with regulatory updates and via consultation with our suppliers. The new provisions of the BSA creates new rights of action for everyone involved in Construction Projects and our target has been to fully integrate these requirements.

At GTH we have provided additional training and professional development on the BSA requirements, and our management team are qualified to deliver this as part of our PC duties. Working closely with our Building Control Consultancy Service Partners and Designers, we can carry out this service as part of our Contract Delivery Strategy in order to comply with all current regulatory obligations on non-gateway projects. Please get in touch if you have any queries and for more information.
