Operating and Maintenance Information – Health and Safety Files

We are able to provide a specialised in-house service for the collation and production of project O&M’s and HSF documents. We have a dedicated office-based team who collaborate with all sub-contractors and suppliers to bring together these crucial handover documents in line with CDM requirements as Principal Contractor. We have our own standard structured system for presenting this information or we can adapt formats to our client’s needs.

We also work alongside Principal Designers to develop fully fleshed out documents that provide our customers with complete sets of building information from completed projects.  Our process ensures that all Operating and Maintenance manuals and Health and Safety Files are accurate, complete and easy to use long after project handover. By managing information throughout the build rather than retrospectively, we reduce delays, close-out issues and missing documentation. This structured approach supports duty holders in meeting their ongoing responsibilities and provides clear, accessible building information that can be relied upon for future maintenance, alterations and compliance requirements.

Extensive experience delivering compliant project handover and building information

Decades of experience in construction, refurbishment and project delivery inform the way we compile and manage O&M and Health and Safety documentation. Having worked across a wide range of projects and regulatory environments, we understand the importance of clear, compliant and well-organised information at handover. This experience allows us to anticipate what clients, facilities managers and regulators will need, ensuring documentation is practical as well as compliant.

Our long-standing involvement in projects delivered under CDM regulations has provided a strong understanding of roles, responsibilities and information requirements at completion. By combining this knowledge with established systems and disciplined document control, we help ensure that handover information accurately reflects the finished works. The result is a reliable set of documents that supports safe operation, effective maintenance and long-term asset management.
